EV Charger Installation
CleanBC – EV Charger Rebate Program
BC’s EV (Electric vehicle) charger rebate program is a partnership with the Government of B.C., BC Hydro, and FortisBC that offer provincial rebates for the purchase and installation of EV chargers and infrastructure to get homes and workplaces across B.C. ready for EVs.
Our goal is to support you throughout the process. We can provide information session and/or provide advice for you to understand the steps and processes of getting electric vehicle charging in your building through the following value-added services:

▪ Benefits of using EVs and acquiring chargers
▪ Types of EV chargers
▪ Charging incentives
▪ Guidelines in installing EV charging in your building
▪ Information for MURBs and/or Strata council: challenges, risks, etc.
We can set up an online meeting to explain the CleanBC and explain the trend, opportunities, products, challenges, and practical tips regarding the EV charges in order for you and/or your strata council to have an overview regarding the program.
We are a certified BC Hydro Power Smart Alliance Member and we are committed to support you in meeting the requirements under the BC government’s EV program to receive the 2021 grant.
Key Highlights of the Program
Single Family Homes
Get a rebate of up to 50% of the purchase and installation costs of an eligible Level 2 EV charger, to a maximum of $350.00. This includes duplexes or townhouses with private garages or dedicated parking.
Apartment / Condo Buildings
Two provincial rebate options to help apartment and condo buildings get ready to support EVs: EV Ready Rebates and Standalone EV Charger Rebate
Workplaces
Get a rebate of up to $2,000 per charger to purchase and install Level 2 networked EV chargers for employee use, to a maximum of $14,000. Pre-approval from BC Hydro is required prior to purchasing and/or installing chargers.
LED Lighting Upgrade
Power Smart Program
Lighting can be your highest energy cost. As a member of BC Alliance of Energy Professionals, we can provide advice in planning an energy-efficient design for your property to make it more energy efficient, better comfort and health, and reduced costs.
